About FitMySim
Buying a home golf simulator is a multi-thousand-dollar decision, and the most common expensive mistake is buying gear that doesn't physically fit the room - usually because of ceiling height, the constraint people forget.
FitMySim exists to answer one question honestly and instantly: will a golf simulator fit my room, and if so, what should I buy? You enter three measurements; the calculator gives a clear verdict, the right launch-monitor type for your space, and a build recommendation by budget.
How do the recommendations work?
The verdict is built from established home-simulator space guidance: comfortable full-swing clearance of 9–10 ft (adjusted for player height), width for single- or both-handed play, and depth for ball flight, stance and projector throw. Where a room is tight, the tool steers you to floor / behind-the-ball launch monitors that need no overhead mount, because that's what actually works in low rooms.
It's guidance, not a guarantee - every room has quirks (rafters, lights, door tracks), so we always tell you to confirm with a tape measure and a slow practice swing before purchasing.
Who runs FitMySim?
FitMySim is run by a single independent operator. It is not owned by, and does not speak for, any golf brand or retailer.
How does FitMySim make money?
Today it doesn't: we are not yet in any active affiliate program, and the store links on the site are ordinary links. When a program accepts us, links to that store will carry an “Ad” label and the affiliate disclosure will name the program. The calculator's verdict depends on your measurements, never on commissions. We'd rather tell you a setup doesn't fit than sell you a return.
How do we use AI?
Guides are drafted with the help of AI writing tools and checked against manufacturers' published specifications and retailers' price pages; prices carry the date we checked them. We have not tested the products ourselves.
Found a mistake?
Email hello@fitmysim.com with the page and what looks wrong. We check every report against the manufacturer or retailer, fix the page and update its date.
